Zeus’ Fan-Made ‘God List’ and Teacher Ba’s Contrasting Reactions with KOLs and Commentators
As is known, a few days ago, a spreadsheet was released in the League of Legends community featuring both familiar and unfamiliar names. According to some information, the creator of this list is a group of Zeus fans, and the purpose is for this player’s fan community to “avoid” the characters mentioned in the list. However, the true reason behind the creator of the sheet remains unclear. What is certain is that the names mentioned in the list, such as Teacher Ba and commentator Van Tung, have reacted.

While renowned commentators like Van Tung, Hoang Sama, and most individuals/fan pages mentioned chose to remain silent, stop streaming, or like MC Khanh Vy, hide related TikTok clips about T1… Teacher Ba still went live and responded.

Specifically, the most famous streamer in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene asserted: “If Zeus left for money, then as a fan of Faker, I can only talk about this aspect emotionally. I’m not saying Zeus leaving is wrong, but clearly leaving for money is something I can say is leaving for money.” Additionally, Teacher Ba also used Faker as an example to illustrate that money should not always be the deciding factor for a player.

Furthermore, Teacher Ba also stated: “If you Zeus fans want others not to talk about you, then perhaps when supporting Zeus, you should not mention other teams or players. As long as you can commit to that, then as for me, I will not mention Zeus or HLE anymore.”

The debate over Zeus in the League of Legends community or among T1 fans may not end soon
The controversies have persisted since November 19, when T1 officially announced their farewell to Zeus, and they will likely continue into the future. Both sides have their own arguments, and perhaps, the fan communities on both sides as well as neutral fans need to respect these arguments. Because, logically, Zeus is not wrong, and when The Play released evidence, many opinions also suggested that Zeus was not wrong in terms of sentiment.

However, when compared to previous cases at T1 or even Zeus’ former teammates like Keria, Oner, or Gumayusi, it seems that Zeus had demands that could not be accepted compared to these members, and his departure was an inevitable outcome.
