As a student of RMIT, Quốc has played a crucial role in building an eSports community at the school and notably, he led the RMIT team to the finals of the Student Cup 2023, finishing impressively in the Top 8 overall.

From Personal Passion to a Greater Dream

Starting as a professional gamer, having won the eLigue 1 Vietnam and represented the country at the FC Pro Festival 2023 in Busan, South Korea, Quốc does not stop at conquering major arenas but harbors an ambition: to bring eSports closer to the university environment.

At RMIT – a leading institution in innovation and creativity, Quốc sees a tremendous potential for eSports in education. For him, eSports is not merely a game but a discipline that helps develop strategic thinking, teamwork, and composure under pressure. Therefore, Quốc Various has no hesitation in connecting students who share the same passion, forming a professional team, and bringing RMIT into the competitive scene.

Imprint at the Student Cup 2023

Under Quốc’s leadership, the RMIT team made a remarkable impression at the Student Cup 2023, a prestigious eSports tournament for students nationwide. For the first time, the name RMIT appeared in the finals and confidently finished in the Top 8 – an impressive achievement in their debut. This success is not only a personal milestone for Quốc but also opens a new chapter for eSports at RMIT, affirming the potential and prowess of students in this field.

Aspiration to Take RMIT Further

Not stopping at their first success, Quốc Various hopes to continue accompanying RMIT in larger tournaments, pushing the team further on the student eSports map. He believes that with the right investment, RMIT can transcend being just a promising name and truly become a force in regional and international student eSports tournaments.

In addition, Quốc also aims to build an eSports ecosystem right within the university campus – a place where young people can study while pursuing their passion without the burden of prejudice. Workshops, interactions with professional gamers, or internal tournaments will provide RMIT students with more opportunities to develop skills and access the eSports industry systematically.

The Journey Has Just Begun

With passion, vision, and perseverance, Quốc Various is gradually realizing his dream. He is not only a talented gamer but also a trailblazer for school eSports in Vietnam. The success at the Student Cup 2023 is just the starting point, and surely in the future, Quốc will lead RMIT to glory many more times.
