When talking about VCS, alongside the “teamfight-centric” style of play, one cannot forget the drama, from individual issues to collective ones. Throughout the past and present, there have been numerous troubles in VCS that have even spread to the international LMHT community. And only in VCS has there been a case of a player receiving a Global Ban for a reason completely unrelated to LMHT expertise. That is Zeros with the penalty for his “loose lips” regarding the pandemic a few years ago.

After a period of accusations flying back and forth regarding the dramas surrounding VCS, it was thought that Zeros would focus more on climbing ranks and serving his fans. However, during a recent stream, he once again confronted Riot directly while mentioning “Mr. Vinh” (the former owner of GAM Esports) through a famous song by rapper Karik. Notably, this segment of Zeros’ stream was later shared by many in the VCS community.
In response to Zeros’ latest move, the majority of opinions agree that Riot has not banned his IP entirely, allowing the former SBTC Esports star to continue playing games and streaming. Moreover, it seems that Riot may also be “turning a blind eye” to Zeros using a Korean rank account (the act of buying and selling accounts is banned, especially as Riot has tightened restrictions on Korean ranked accounts, even players may not have the opportunity to own them). But now, Zeros openly criticizes this publisher, which is truly “hopeless.”

After the rap “remix” of the lyrics from Karik’s song, Zeros not only criticized Riot but also attacked Garena. However, Zeros’ Global Ban was issued by Riot, not Garena or the VCS organizers.

Of course, it seems Riot will not ban Zeros’ IP like many have feared. However, it is clear that the former SE star shows no signs of truly distancing himself from controversies; in fact, Zeros seems to create controversies for himself. Once again, the troubles (potentially) facing the former SE player may arise directly from his own words.
