To wrap up a tumultuous 2021 and welcome the New Year 2022, the League of Legends community in Vietnam and around the world engaged in numerous activities. Alongside the usual well-wishes, there were also more unique ways to ring in the New Year. For example, female host Mai Dora from VCS released a series of sexy, “wet” photos on the eve of the New Year on the night of December 31.

For Zeros in particular and the VCS community in general, 2021 can be considered an extremely “special” year for this player. By now, everyone knows that Zeros has received a global ban across all competitions. In fact, livestreaming VCS matches on his own stream is a luxury that Zeros cannot afford. To make matters worse, at the end of the year, Zeros’s family received bad news when his brother – former player of the League of Legends: Wild Rift team SBTC Esports, Minas, also faced a global ban for match-fixing. Indeed, the Zeros brothers alone have stirred up the Vietnamese Esports scene over the past year.

To “commemorate” this special year, Zeros has tattooed the words “global ban” on his arm. However, alongside the admiration for the new tattoo of the “king of penalties”, many netizens took the opportunity to roast Zeros for not tattooing the detail of “solo kill TheShy” – something that Zeros or his fans often bring up to prove how talented the “Demon King” once was.

However, the achievements that should have been celebrated now become a topic of “roasting” among netizens. In the present and likely in the future, Zeros and his fans, as well as the VCS in general, will probably only recall this as a memory or something to mock the talented yet “problematic” player in VCS.
