For the players of Bilibili Gaming in general and Bin in particular, MSI 2023 is quite a special tournament. Throughout the history of BLG, this is the first official international tournament in League of Legends that this team has the opportunity to participate in. As for Bin, he will be competing at MSI for the second consecutive time and he will be the only player in last year’s Royal Never Give Up roster who has the chance to win two MSI championships in a row.

Of course, to achieve this goal, the entire BLG team must truly put in their maximum effort. After all, they have received significant investment from Bilibili, but it wasn’t until Spring 2023 that they reaped the fruits of their labor. As for Bin, he has often been seen as an imperfect Top Laner due to sometimes struggling with mental issues. This is also an opportunity for Bin to prove that he has truly reached the highest level in the Top Lane position.

And perhaps because of this determination, Bin is exhibiting an extreme level of focus at this year’s MSI. Specifically, in a recent interview question asking “Which player do you feel like you’d want to get to know the most?”, Yagao and Bin provided completely opposite answers.
Accordingly, the Mid Laner of BLG pointed out that it is Faker: “That’s Faker. As soon as I can, I want to take a picture with him. I really want to get to know Faker because I didn’t have the chance last year. Maybe we can take a thumbs-up picture like he often does.” But for Bin, he bluntly said: “There isn’t any player that makes me want to get to know or befriend. I don’t want to be friends with my opponents. I just want to defeat them.”

In fact, Bin’s comments are completely understandable. MSI 2023 is not a playground for any team to “stroll” or have a lack of focus and seriousness. In fact, with the new competition format, even the top teams may not necessarily achieve their desired results. And certainly, a competitive player like Bin will never accept defeat in his matches.
