Recently, Faker’s fans have been quite excited to see him fumbling as he practices Teamfight Tactics with his teammates at T1. And like many other newcomers, Faker is also quite “green” as he continuously gets wrecked by Teddy using various team compositions.

In the first match, the Demon King used a very hot “textbook composition” in the meta, Kayle Time Traveler. Despite its strength, Faker still got “wrecked” by his teammate Teddy with a Pilot Assassin composition.
Faker was even unlucky enough to face Teddy’s team in 2 consecutive rounds – a low probability in this mode. As a result, Faker was “hit without missing a single shot” in both encounters, with Teddy immediately gifting him a top 3.
After that, the Demon King began to research and “selectively learn” Teddy’s composition for the next match:

It’s unclear if Faker knows that playing the same composition as Teddy lowers both of their chances to roll champions, however, fans jokingly say that T1’s “meme god” is getting revenge on Teddy for taking him down in the previous match. But even when playing the exact same team, Faker quietly settled for top 3 while Teddy continued to secure top 1…
Although Faker had a few top 1 finishes later on, whenever he lost, he would lose heavily, even when using the hottest “textbook compositions” in the meta:

It can be seen that the compositions Faker used are all extremely strong, however, the reason Faker often “flops early” is that the Demon King refuses to “check the map” and observe opponents’ boards regularly, leading to him often placing his team in unfavorable positions, compounded by playing duplicate compositions that result in low champion rolls.
Since the MSI 2020 tournament has been canceled, Faker and his teammates have quite a bit of free time, allowing fans to comfortably watch Faker “get wrecked” in Teamfight Tactics at the rank… Silver Division.
