On the evening of January 18, the Free Fire community in Vietnam experienced explosive moments during the grand final of Vietnam League 2025. This is the highest level professional Esports tournament, gathering the top 12 teams from across the country competing in 8 thrilling matches to determine the champion.
This year’s tournament became more intense than ever thanks to the introduction of the Champion Rush mechanism. When the 100-point threshold was established, 5 teams simultaneously activated this state, turning the final match into a relentless score-chasing battle.

Under immense pressure, the resilient team rising from the WAG Academy Legion tournament system asserted their position. With a decisive Booyah! in the 8th match, they officially finished in 1st place with a total of 133 points and 84 eliminations, thus claiming the championship title along with a reward of 200 million VND.
A significant contributor to this achievement was player SHIRYU, who excellently earned the MVP title of the tournament along with a personal prize of 10 million VND. With his decisive playstyle and strong combat abilities, SHIRYU was the one who executed the final elimination, wiping out the opponent NLB to bring glory to WAG Academy.

After the conclusion of Vietnam League 2025, the teams will have a short break before returning to the race in 2026. Fans can look forward to the promotion round of FFWS Vietnam 2026 Spring taking place in March, followed by the return of the Vietnam League season in the summer of 2026.
