As technology advances, people are finding many ways to make daily tasks and activities as convenient as possible. Among the daily activities, playing games for entertainment is an essential part. But have gamers ever imagined playing games using voice commands, similar to how they interact with electronic devices like smartphones and refrigerators?

Recently, a Vietnamese gamer experimented with playing Teamfight Tactics (TFT) using the Mouse Grid system available in Windows 10. Immediately, this post attracted the attention of the gaming community in general, as well as League of Legends and the TFT mode in particular. However, from a game known as “auto chess”, after using the Mouse Grid and playing with his mouth, this gamer had to admit that his TFT experience had turned into… “an endurance game”.

It is clear that while it is still possible to play adequately, the player faced many difficulties. From issuing commands to start the Mouse Grid after each round to requiring the cursor to move exactly where needed. During the same gaming time as usual, it became evident that as the clip progressed, the male gamer became increasingly anxious, especially when he was about to be eliminated.
Witnessing the investment of the male gamer, netizens couldn’t help but admire his “tough endurance”. However, many pointed out that playing games with the mouth through the Mouse Grid is currently considered impossible for Vietnamese gamers. The simple reason is that it is hard for Vietnamese people to pronounce accurately for the Mouse Grid to recognize. For some games like TFT, players can take their time to adjust their commands accurately. But for games that require continuous action and processing, especially those with combat… playing with the mouth is simply… much harder than expected.

Some people also pointed out that the issue might stem from the Windows 10 software itself. According to these gamers, there are times when virtual assistants fail to recognize speech even when pronounced as clearly as possible.

However, because this is the default software of Windows 10, there is no way to set it up to be more convenient for gamers. If in the future there are software solutions that integrate languages from each country or allow players to configure hotkeys that suit their commands, then Vietnamese gamers in particular and gamers worldwide in general, especially those with disabilities, could experience games using their mouths more easily.
