On January 20, 2024, the VCS Spring 2024 will officially return with matches that promise to be incredibly exciting. Especially with changes in most of the familiar teams and the inclusion of new challenging names, VCS Spring 2024 is set to be very thrilling. Additionally, the GAM team has also seen significant weaknesses compared to their previous form due to the departure of several key players, leading many to believe that the reigning VCS champions will struggle to defend their title this time.

However, just before the VCS kicks off, the tournament surprised many fans by the absence of several familiar names in the roles of MCs/casters for the event. While quality figures like MC Remind and caster Hữu Trung remain, fans are notably disappointed by the absence of MC Mai Dora, MC Minh Nghi, and the duo of Văn Tùng – Hoàng Luân. There have been opinions suggesting that the tournament organizers could not reach agreements with the management of these famous casters or MCs.

Nevertheless, VCS is known for bringing surprises, and just a few hours before the official start of the Spring 2024 tournament, the organizers announced the streamers who will co-stream the biggest League of Legends tournament in the scene. The most surprising addition is that alongside familiar personalities like SofM and Thầy Giáo Ba, casters Hoàng Luân and Văn Tùng will not be officially working but will be part of the co-stream lineup. However, drawing equal attention to the veteran names is Slayder – the former star of GAM.

The appearance of the top VCS marksman in the co-stream role also confirms that, at least for VCS Spring 2024, no team has recruited him. In the comments below the post, some fans made “harsh” remarks about the reigning VCS champion having to appear in a new role. Additionally, Thầy Giáo Ba was humorously referred to by fans as “tier 6.” However, this may just be the arrangement of streamer names by the VCS organizers and has nothing to do with ranking the streamers.

But anyway, with the announcement from the VCS organizers, the co-stream faces will all be familiar to the League of Legends audience in Vietnam. As for Slayder, this could be a new challenge, a new experience for him, and perhaps Slayder sees this as a temporary option before the Summer 2024 season begins. The former GAM marksman is still young, and Slayder likely does not want to end his career too early.
