In recent days, the new Breeze map has certainly been the center of attention for VALORANT players. So, what makes this new map special? Which agents will have an advantage on this map? Let’s find out.
First, the most impressive feature of Breeze is that both sites A and B are incredibly spacious. Moreover, the entrances to these sites are quite large and lack significant cover. Such terrain gives long-range weapons a considerable advantage on Breeze. This creates quite a disadvantage for the Attackers when trying to quickly seize a site.
Another special feature of site A on Breeze is that the Defenders have two elevated positions with a wide field of view. This allows them to protect this area relatively easily when equipped with the Operator. Clearly, in long-range firefights, the Operator shows a significant advantage over other weapons.
Not stopping there, the Defenders also have another advantageous position in the mid area. Basically, they can move to the mid area extremely quickly and secure advantageous positions. Meanwhile, the Attackers have to ascend from lower ground, which puts them at a significant disadvantage in terms of visibility. In this position, the Operator once again proves effective by giving players strong control capabilities.
Of course, the Attackers also have their own strategies for victory on Breeze. Specifically, the Attackers can move behind the Defenders and seize the spike sites. At site A, there is a long corridor leading directly to A Bridge, allowing players to maneuver behind the enemy and launch an attack.
At site B, there is a path through B Elbow that allows players to eliminate a member of the Defenders in Mid Nest. If this player is taken down, the Attackers can open up many favorable routes to seize site B. Additionally, controlling the Mid Nest area also blocks reinforcements from site A for the Defenders.
Regarding the agents, characters with strong area control abilities like Killjoy, Viper, and Brimstone are extremely suitable for the Breeze map. These characters will help you defend the spike sites very effectively. For the Attackers, Jett and Phoenix are standout characters when used on Breeze. Jett’s explosive mobility and Phoenix’s blinding Curveballs promise to create effective attack plays.
