If you’re not aware, Riot Games has a partnership program with influential members of the community called the League Partner Program. This program offers many benefits to its members, such as giveaways for viewers, opportunities to contribute feedback for game development, early access to major updates for League of Legends, and even representation for Riot at certain events.

Tyler1, despite having his account banned multiple times by Riot Games, has become an official member of the aforementioned program after a period of reform. That’s why we often see Tyler1 participating in events like the All-Star Battle or LCS.

However, just a few days ago, Tyler1 was shocked to discover that his account was no longer part of Riot Games’ League Partner Program – LPP.
Digging through Tyler1’s stream videos, we can easily spot clips where he insults teammates, makes baseless complaints about his role, or belittles the rank of others live on stream. Remember that Tyler1 is an extremely popular streamer, and it’s quite common for him to have 20,000-30,000 viewers at once; if people watch and emulate such behavior, it will only worsen the already toxic League of Legends community.

One thing we cannot deny is that Tyler1 is an extremely skilled League of Legends player, at least in solo queue; it is rare for someone to climb to Challenger after just half a year of learning jungle like he did. However, talent often comes with flaws, and the fact that he insults the game, throws shade at other streamers and professional players, and even berates his own viewers and supporters more frequently is hard to accept.
Perhaps that is the main reason why Riot Games revoked Tyler1’s LPP status as a mild warning. If he continues his behavior, it would not be surprising to see Tyler1 permanently banned from League of Legends again as he was in the past.
