The Chinese online community in general and gamers in particular are known for their fastidiousness and strictness. However, instead of harsh comments like those from Korean netizens, Chinese gamers often use wordplay to mock and criticize certain events both in and out of the game.
Invictus Gaming’s staggering losses from the LPL Spring to Summer have not escaped the fans’ scrutiny. Instead of direct insults, Chinese League of Legends fans are finding ways to rename IG players to align with the initials of teams in the LPL. This trend quickly gained traction among gamers on the Chinese forum Hupu.

I suggest renaming the IG players like this:
Rookie Never Givup is RNG (implying Rookie never gives up even if the team plays poorly).
TheShy Enjoys Song (the word “Song” in Chinese means “Feed”) is TES (implying TheShy only enjoys feeding).
After reading this post, my friend had an additional suggestion: Finally Puff Survived is FPX (implying the ADC Puff is always the last one alive as the game concludes).

Let Ning Go is LNG (implying Ning should be kicked for poor performance).
Rookie Weep is RW, what do you think? (Weep means to cry, possibly referencing the time Rookie cried on stream after losing).
Jungle Don’t Gank is JDG (implying Ning in the jungle doesn’t know how to gank). I have a better idea for JDG: Jacekylove Don’t Go (meaning Jackeylove shouldn’t leave, as if he does, no one can carry IG anymore).

Leave Ning in Garbage sounds more reasonable (referring to Ning should just stay in the “garbage” and not compete).
Jungle Deep Gap is JDG (this phrase means the gap in the jungle role is too large, another critique aimed at Ning).

I would suggest: Let’s Go Die = LGD (meaning let’s go feed together). Do Mid Open = DMO (referring to letting the opponent destroy the mid lane). Shit Ning = SN (referring to Ning’s poor play). Oh! Mid is God = OMG.

I think Jackeylove Don’t Go is incorrect; it should be Jackeylove Decided Go (meaning the ADC decided to leave the team).

Songyijin Killed TheShy is SKT (In fact, Rookie’s name is Song Eui-jin, perhaps this criticism points to issues between Rookie and TheShy).
We can easily see that LPL fans have been heavily criticizing the two members Ning and TheShy, as they are arguably the “weakest” names in Invictus Gaming’s current lineup. Ning is facing significant issues with his performance as he has plummeted dramatically, making it hard to believe he was once the MVP of the 2018 World Championship.

TheShy faces another major issue with the types of champions he is using. After successfully finding success with Kalista top in spring, he continued to experiment with other champions like Aphelios, Neeko, or even Lee Sin top, resulting in terrible outcomes. This has left LPL fans extremely “frustrated”, with some harshly criticizing TheShy’s selfish attitude, while others have cleverly dubbed him “TheShy Loves to Feed” as mentioned above.

In this summer LPL season, many mid-tier names like Victory Five, LGD Gaming, and Suning Gaming are performing quite well. Top teams like Top Esports, JD Gaming, and FunPlus Phoenix also show no signs of weakness. Therefore, the competition in LPL is becoming increasingly fierce, and if the performance is not corrected, the scenario of not seeing Invictus Gaming at the upcoming 2020 World Championship is entirely possible.
