TSW Exits Worlds 2025, One Name Criticized
Entering the decisive match at Worlds 2025 against MKOI, everyone understood this was a tough opponent for TSW. However, if we look at all the opponents in the first and second brackets, MKOI was actually the “easiest” opponent after TSW had previously defeated VKS and could not face them again. In fact, TSW secured a victory right in the first game. The only issue was that when MKOI rallied, the VCS representative had no choice but to endure, and player Dire was blamed as the main cause of TSW’s defeat.

According to many evaluations, the young player of TSW had a disappointing performance on match day. In both games, he completely lost the lane to Jojopyun. Even during team fights, Dire’s contributions were very limited. According to some assessments, if Supa hadn’t made several “throw game” plays that gave Eddie too much of an advantage in game one, TSW might have found it hard to win as Jojopyun almost outplayed the rest completely.
Broadening the scope of TSW’s journey at this year’s Worlds, Dire did not leave as much of an impression as when he played at LCP. Perhaps it was the first time stepping onto an international stage, where TSW had to face opponents much stronger than themselves that overwhelmed this young player. And just the individual efforts of Eddie or Hizto were not enough to help TSW advance further in the tournament on Chinese soil.

But TSW Also Showed Many Potential Aspects of VCS at Worlds
With a young lineup and except for Taki, the rest had no Worlds experience until this tournament, TSW has performed at a somewhat acceptable level. But of course, many VCS fans also hope TSW can improve further. They have the ability but lack a solid enough mentality.

The current TSW team is a promising young collective. And perhaps Worlds 2025 will be a good experience for this lineup to develop further in the future, both in LCP and in international arenas in the upcoming seasons.
