An LCK team is almost “disbanding” during the end-of-year 2024 transfer window
As of the current moment in the end-of-year 2024 transfer window, only T1 has made moves to finalize their roster in the LCK. Meanwhile, other teams are still in the rumor stage without any confirmations. However, following T1, on the morning of November 19 (Vietnam time), KT Rolster has bid farewell to almost their entire roster.

Accordingly, they not only said goodbye to the players on the main team (only keeping PerfecT and Bdd) but also some players and coaching staff from the KT Challengers team. This can be seen as a move to completely restructure KT’s lineup in preparation for the new season.
Previously, when the season just concluded, KT had already confirmed the departure of Deft to fulfill military obligations. Therefore, this near disbandment of KT did not come as a surprise to the audience. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see how KT’s rival to T1 in the “telecom giants” battles will reshape their roster.

A fan of a Gen.G superstar hints their idol might leave in this transfer window
Recently, Gen.G announced that all members have become free agents. A hardcore fan of Peyz even posted a letter implying that their idol might be leaving.

“Two years with Gen.G have brought me many valuable lessons and happy moments. I will always support the next steps of player Peyz. Although I always support all players who have been part of Gen.G since 2022, I understand that everyone has their own paths. Therefore, if someone decides to leave, I will still wish them well. This time may be brief, but I have beautiful memories.”

The departure of Peyz has been rumored after he has shown little improvement since his debut. Additionally, there have been rumors about Ruler returning. If Gen.G recruits Ruler, it would be a waste to bench Peyz.
But regardless of what happens, Gen.G will certainly experience personnel changes in the upcoming season. These will be significant changes as they continue to strive for their first real Worlds Championship title, despite having failed time and again.
