After days of anticipation, T1’s 2024 Worlds skin line has officially been revealed on the PBE server, instantly becoming a hot topic in the gaming community. With a groundbreaking and impressive design, this skin set quickly entered the list of the most beautiful Worlds skins in history, despite ongoing controversies.

T1 could also be included in the list of the most beautiful Worlds skins in League of Legends history.

SKT T1 2016: Memories of an Immortal Dynasty

Although not overly intricate in design, the 2016 Worlds skins of SKT T1 captured fans’ hearts due to their historical significance and visual breakthroughs compared to previous versions. Still featuring the familiar red and gold tones, these skins were “revamped” by Riot with stunning skill effects and notably included the signature details of each player in their Recall animations.

This skin set marks T1’s second consecutive World Championship title, honoring players Ekko (Duke), Zac (Blank), Olaf (Bengi), Jhin (Bang), Syndra (Faker), and Nami (Wolf). Remarkably, this was also the only year where a coach had a skin honoring him.

T1 2024: Breaking Through with a “Dark Fantasy” Style

The 2024 Worlds skins for T1 have officially “landed” on the PBE with familiar names: Gnar (Zeus), Vi (Oner), Yone (Faker), Varus (Gumayusi), and Pyke (Keria). The highlight of this skin set is the enchanting and powerful “dark fantasy” style, combined with T1’s signature red, black, and gold colors, creating an irresistibly “cool” overall design.

The visual effects of the skins are rated as extremely smooth, combined with the unique details of each player. Notably, Faker will have two skins: the standard Yone skin and the Prestige Sylas skin, a privilege for FMVP, which has never occurred in the history of League of Legends. Although there are some mixed opinions, the majority of players believe this is a significant advancement from Riot Games and one of the best Worlds skins ever created.

Damwon Gaming 2020: Rich with Greek Mythology

Inspired by ancient Greek gods, the 2020 Worlds skins of Damwon Gaming made a strong impression with their signature blue color. Riot Games crafted a skin set with a powerful yet elegant design, from the mighty Kennen (Nuguri), the flamboyant Twisted Fate (ShowMaker), to the graceful Nidalee (Canyon) and the authoritative Jhin (Ghost) and Leona (BeryL). The smooth skill effects and unique recall animations are significant plus points that helped this skin set land on the list.

EDward Gaming 2021: The Intersection of Mythology and Technology

The 2021 Worlds skins of EDward Gaming are a testament to Riot Games’ relentless creativity. With shimmering emerald green and gold hues, combined with intricate dragon motifs, these skins create an extremely impressive style. From the majestic Graves (Flandre), the mysterious Viego (Jiejie), to the adorable Zoe (Scout) and the whimsical Yuumi (Meiko), each skin clearly reflects the personality of each player and is highly regarded for its skill effects.

Invictus Gaming 2018: The Classic Black and White Beauty

Launched in 2018, the Worlds skins of Invictus Gaming are still considered a design monument. With the dominant black-and-white color scheme, the IG 2018 skins offer a beauty that is both cold and mysterious, yet exceptionally refined. The feather effects and whimsical details were skillfully integrated into each skin, transforming the champions into true goddesses. This skin set honors players TheShy (Fiora), Ning (Camille), Rookie (LeBlanc), JackeyLove (Kai’Sa), and Baolan (Rakan).

To this day, IG 2018 remains the pinnacle for most of the League of Legends community.

The T1 Paradox

It can be seen that T1, although the team with the most Worlds skins, is not highly rated in terms of design. According to many opinions, T1’s primary color is red, which is not easy to design beautifully. Additionally, the previous SKT T1 skins were created during a time when Riot’s graphic technology had not truly developed. Therefore, SKT T1 has to “suffer” compared to later teams.
