Bruiser – Marksman
Playing the Bruiser – Marksman composition is a great way to cultivate patience for players. The power graph of this team can be described as quite stable in the early game, very weak in the mid-game, and then skyrocketing in the late game. The reason for its early game strength is due to the 2 units, Lucian and Graves, which are very cheap and can reach 2 stars early; they will carry the team for a long time before you have a complete lineup.

By the mid-game phase (especially at levels 6-7), it’s very challenging to choose a team composition because if you go for 4 Bruisers, you’ll lack damage, and if you opt for 4 Marksmen, you’ll be too fragile. Not to mention the difficulty of not having Miss Fortune and the randomness of the items. This composition will almost completely transform at level 8 when you can get Miss Fortune, complete the 4 Bruisers, and acquire necessary items, becoming a true powerhouse.

Gunner – Infiltrator
It may sound unreasonable, but the truth is that the Gunner – Infiltrator composition has a very poor early game, if not the weakest among all compositions. During this phase, you must rely on good units like Poppy, Leona, and Jayce to form the frontline. If you are lucky enough to obtain Shaco, he still can’t carry the team since it’s very hard to get him to 2 stars before level 6, and not to mention he heavily depends on items.

The shining moment for the Gunner – Infiltrator usually comes at level 6 or 7, when you complete the 3 Gunner combo and bring out your Super Robot. Some players are so confident that they don’t roll for 3 stars as usual but level up to 8 to grab Kayle or Miss Fortune to ensure late-game damage.

Shadow
Right from the nature of the Shadow composition, the units of the same tribe will die to buff the damage of one main carry, which already indicates a level of “struggling”. In the early game, you can hardly play this composition because there are no champions; the two cheapest units, Jarvan IV and Mordekaiser, require effects from the class to survive and tank, rather than a little damage from the 3 Shadow combo.

As the game progresses towards the late game, when the Shadow carries like Shaco, Jhin, or Xerath appear and have all the necessary items, that’s when this composition shines with an incredible amount of damage added each time an allied unit falls. Don’t rejoice too soon when you take down 5 out of 6 Shadow units; just one Jhin or Shaco left can take down your entire team.

Star Guardian – Sorcerer
Regardless of which variant you play, the essence of the Sorcerer and Star Guardian units in Teamfight Tactics is extremely weak in the early game but becomes increasingly powerful as the game progresses when you have a complete composition. This is due to the fact that the basic damage and attack speed of these units are quite poor, which is crucial in the early game, so the damage they deal in the initial rounds is not significant.

Moreover, this composition heavily relies on items, especially Tear of the Goddess, making it even weaker in the early game. However, once you reach level 7 and have a sufficient amount of energy items, the power of the Star Guardian – Sorcerer composition will be maximized with extremely powerful spells that can wipe out the opponent’s team.
