Yasuo – Duelist
Originally an incredibly strong composition from season 4, the Yasuo – Duelist team has become even more dominant with the arrival of patch 11.2. With an increase in movement speed in season 4.5, Duelist champions can quickly close in and take down targets. This significantly reduces the chances of Duelist units being eliminated before they can deal damage. With a composition as strong as Yasuo – Duelist, this adjustment is more than enough for this team comp to continue dominating in season 4.5.

In terms of gameplay, the Yasuo – Duelist team in season 4.5 is not too different from before. You still aim to upgrade Yasuo to 3 stars to ensure strength in the early and mid-game. If possible, players should invest in Fiora with defensive items like the Dragon’s Claw and Thornmail. The ability to become immune to damage for 1.5 seconds with the Parry skill makes Fiora an incredibly powerful tank in the early game.

Assassin – Spirit
While at the start of season 4 we had the incredibly dominant Phantom – Spirit composition, the current Assassin – Spirit team is in a similar state. The operation of this composition is extremely simple, with Spirit champions buffing attack speed for the assassins to eliminate the enemy’s main damage dealers as quickly as possible. With Diana becoming a Spirit champion, you can fully apply the hyper-roll strategy to upgrade this unit to 3 stars to ensure an early winning streak.

One note for players wanting to use this composition is that you need to upgrade Teemo as early as possible. This unit will serve as a time-buying distraction, drawing the attention of the enemy frontline so that the Assassins can deal damage. If you let Teemo remain at a low level or without items, your composition is very likely to lose. Therefore, the advice is to equip Teemo with as many defensive items as you can.

Warlord – Butcher
Basically, Warlord is always a strong race in the early and mid-game in Teamfight Tactics. However, the weakness of Warlord in the first half of season 4 was the lack of a 4-cost champion. Therefore, the damage in the late game for this race appeared to be quite “weak”. With the introduction of Tryndamere in season 4.5, that weakness has been completely addressed as this champion possesses an extremely high damage output.

Interestingly, Tryndamere always uses the Spinning Slash skill regardless of whether the target being attacked is defeated or not. Therefore, this champion often ends up switching to attack another unit before finishing off the previous target. To resolve this, players need to equip Tryndamere with strong damage items like Infinity Edge, Giant Slayer, or Death’s Blade. The Quicksilver is also a necessary item to help Tryndamere dodge dangerous crowd control abilities.
