Yuumi
Although she doesn’t deal a lot of damage, Yuumi proves to be a very hot champion thanks to her high versatility. In patch 4.5, the Spirit system has been adjusted so that the attack speed buff for allies is fixed rather than interacting with the champions’ energy. This allows Spirit champions, including Yuumi, to significantly increase the damage output for your team. Just having 2 Spirits is enough to ensure your team’s damage capability.

Furthermore, if arranged cleverly, your physical carry will receive a significant boost in attack speed from Yuumi. Not to mention, Yuumi also provides your team with a considerable amount of magic resistance through the Mystic system. It can be said that Yuumi is the most comprehensive support among the current 3-cost champions. Players can use this little cat in various team compositions while maximizing her strength.
Kindred
While Yuumi plays the role of a support unit, Kindred serves as the carry that carries the team in the mid-game. The amount of damage that Kindred’s skill inflicts is extremely high even at 1-star level. Therefore, this unit is a highly valuable upgrade for your team composition. Not stopping there, Kindred can efficiently use all types of damage items, from physical to magical. If you have multiple Rods of Ages but want to build a physical damage team, you should give them to Kindred to avoid wasting resources.

Kindred also benefits greatly from Kayle becoming a very hot unit. Typically, players want to maximize Kayle’s damage, so they look for ways to activate the Blade effect. Clearly, Kindred is easier to acquire and upgrade than Xayah since she only costs 3 gold. Inflicting strong damage early on and coordinating well with the main carry, Kindred is considered the easiest damage-dealing unit to buy in the mid-game.
Irelia
With the possession of two traits, Enlightened and Divine, Irelia allows players to build their team composition very flexibly in the mid-game. For top players in Teamfight Tactics, they always observe their opponents’ compositions and immediately “switch up” whenever they feel another player is contesting their carry. Therefore, they often buy Irelia in the mid-game to facilitate easier and less costly team composition changes.

Moreover, Irelia can become an extremely strong tank in the late game even without many items. With the attack speed reduction effect from the Master system, Irelia, along with Shen and Yone, can mitigate a significant amount of damage that your team has to take. When opponents do not have high attack speed, Master units can hold their ground in fights extremely well without needing many items. This makes Irelia a frontline unit highly favored by top players.
