Assassin – Spirit
In the recent patch 11.7, Riot Games has continued to boost Talon’s damage. This ensures that the Assassin team won’t suffer from a lack of damage in the late game, even when facing “tanky” compositions. When combined with the attack speed buff from the Spirit trait, your Assassin lineup can quickly eliminate the enemy’s carries. You also don’t need to worry too much about the early game when playing an Assassin team since Diana is a very strong 1-cost unit.

The most important item for the Assassin composition is likely the Infinity Edge, as it interacts exceptionally well with this trait’s effects. This item can convert excess critical strike chance into critical strike damage, allowing Assassins to deal massive damage. Remember that critical strike damage also affects skills, so champions like Akali and Katarina benefit greatly from the Infinity Edge.

6 Guardians
Once a very strong composition from previous patches, the fact that Guardians weren’t nerfed has allowed this team comp to continue dominating the Teamfight Tactics meta in patch 11.7. This composition is even more popular now as it counters the Assassin lineup, which is showing signs of a comeback in the meta. By providing a significant amount of shields, champions like Kennen and Xayah do not lack damage, making the Guardian team capable of securing victories quite easily.

To ensure the final victory, it is advised that players do not position their team in one corner of the battlefield. The Guardian composition should be placed in the middle of the battlefield so that skills from champions like Kennen and Xayah can deal damage to as many enemies as possible. A useful tip that players should apply is to combine Statikk Shiv with Xayah at the end of the game. This item reduces opponents’ magic resistance and increases the damage Kennen can deal.

Butcher
With significant buffs in patch 11.7, Darius has become a relatively strong unit at the moment. This allows the Butcher composition to become powerful early on and snowball very effectively. Therefore, you can completely achieve a long winning streak in the mid-game by upgrading Darius to 2 stars early. Darius can also hold items for the carries very well as this unit can utilize nearly all damage items, from physical to magical.

In the late game, it is recommended to switch to using Tryndamere and Samira as the main carries. If you have a very strong Darius and are reluctant to sell, pushing to 6 Butchers is a reasonable choice. At that point, players should combine with Aatrox and Sejuani to ensure crowd control and help the Butcher units deal damage as effectively as possible.
