Zeri
If you pay a little attention, you will notice that mid-season updates of Teamfight Tactics often feature new characters from League of Legends. For instance, in season 4.5 (patch 11.2), Samira made her appearance right after being released at the end of 2020. Even the champion Akshan appeared in Teamfight Tactics in the very patch when this character was officially introduced in the League of Legends universe, namely patch 11.15.
Therefore, with Zeri set to be released in the upcoming patch 12.2, there is a very high chance that this character will also appear in Teamfight Tactics Season 6.5. Moreover, she hails from Zaun, and it would not be difficult for Riot to base her diverse attributes to turn her into a Chemtech or Recon champion. If Zeri indeed becomes a champion in Teamfight Tactics Season 6.5, it is not out of the question that she will possess the Sniper trait.
Wukong
Besides introducing new characters, champions added in mid-season updates of Teamfight Tactics also aim to address the weaknesses of the current traits and classes. The Academy is a trait that needs to be addressed as it has many strong champions, yet in reality, no one opts for the 4 or 6 champions of this trait. Units like Lux, Yone, Leona, and Yuumi are very powerful, but they shine in different team compositions instead of the Academy team.
A direction Riot could take is to ensure that Academy champions can synergize well with each other, making it more valuable to reach 4 or 6 champions. Wukong could be a reasonable name if he possesses the Challenger trait and synergizes well with another carry like Yone. This unit could even take on other traits like Guardian or Protector to combine with Leona and Garen if Riot sees that the Academy trait needs additional defensive capabilities.
Annie
Currently, the Innovator trait is proving to be extremely strong with its powerful offensive and defensive capabilities. With the ability to buff attack stats from the Tech Bear and the playstyle of stacking multiple Empowerment items, the Innovator team can frequently deal massive damage. Furthermore, the defensive capabilities and healing from Sorcerer units, especially Seraphine, are immense, making Innovators a team that is difficult to defeat.
Therefore, Riot needs to take action to reduce this dominance by potentially removing Seraphine in the upcoming Season 6.5 and replacing her with a suitable unit like Annie. Essentially, Annie already has a Tech skin, so this champion is entirely suitable for the position of an Innovator unit. Even the Tech Bear summoned by this trait is a creation of Annie Tech in the Hextech universe of League of Legends.
