As we know, this afternoon – April 23rd, the Finals between Top Esports and Royal Never Give Up will officially take place. Having overcome numerous formidable opponents, this is undoubtedly the most anticipated match of the LPL Spring 2022. Regardless of which team claims the championship and secures a ticket to MSI 2022, both TES and RNG have delivered outstanding performances during this playoff stage.

However, even before the final result of the match, Tian from Top Esports is confident that he can “take revenge” on RNG and head to MSI 2022. In fact, in a recent post on Twitter, Tian even tagged Jankos from G2 Esports as a way to “send a warning” and set up a meeting with his opponent at the upcoming major tournament.

In reality, Tian has rarely had the chance to face off against Jankos in the past. The last time these two junglers met was probably during the Finals of Worlds 2019 when Tian played exceptionally well with Lee Sin. It’s no exaggeration to say that Tian was the one who eliminated G2 Esports’ chances of winning the world championship, despite their best efforts.
And after about 3 years, these two players will finally meet again. Jankos remains with G2, but Tian has left FPX to join TES. Of course, to “take down” Jankos as mentioned above, Tian will have to overcome an extremely tough challenge called RNG in the upcoming LPL Spring 2022 Finals.
Fairly speaking, RNG is currently considered the “favorite” in this Finals match. Not just because they come from the winners’ bracket but because RNG displays comprehensive strength across multiple positions and an extremely high level of stability. Meanwhile, TES has been quite inconsistent, especially in Tian’s position. Clearly, in a tense confrontation like the LPL Spring 2022 Finals, RNG’s stability makes them a more trustworthy team compared to TES’s fluctuating performance.

Hopefully, this afternoon RNG and TES will deliver a visually stunning match with the highest level of professionalism for the audience.
