T1 Officially Releases Clip About Zeus, Fans Recall Faker
On the evening of July 23rd (Vietnam time), T1 officially released a clip about 4 minutes long regarding the team’s COO, Mr. Josh, who spoke on behalf of the team’s management to apologize to Zeus and his family, as well as to The Play – Zeus’s representative. Notably, after T1 officially confirmed that Zeus was completely “clean” in this incident, many fans remembered that Faker had actually “hinted” at the truth of the story since the drama first began.

Accordingly, when the situation regarding Zeus had passed for more than a week, Faker made a statement during a stream. He urged fans to remain calm and support Zeus, and he also mentioned that “things may not be as everyone thinks, it’s always like that.”
At that time, many believed that Faker spoke out to soothe the heated debates between T1 fans, Zeus fans specifically, and HLE fans – the team that had recruited T1’s former top laner at that time. However, after T1 officially spoke up, some fans suggested that Faker might have had some insider information, and his remarks at that time were revisited as possibly being a “signal” from Faker regarding the T1 – Zeus drama.

Perhaps Faker Just Wanted the Community to Stop Debating
However, considering Faker’s personality, it seems his goal in mentioning Zeus during the stream was to get the audience to stop arguing, as well as to end the donations to Faker just to ask about his junior and former teammate. Clearly, the audience’s donations to ask Faker were not only somewhat wasteful but also distracted viewers from focusing on Faker’s stream, instead only caring about side issues.

Additionally, the situation regarding Zeus has been resolved. However, the upcoming matches between T1 and HLE will still be of great interest, especially as Zeus and HLE are currently struggling with a four-game losing streak.
