In the match between Saigon Buffalo and SBTC Esports on the evening of February 27 (Vietnam time) as part of the VCS Spring 2022, SE could not secure a victory against an SGB team that was regaining its form. The “Pink Chickens” only managed to surprise in game 1 before SGB reclaimed both capital and profit in the next 2 games.
However, SE still proved worthy of the title “Circus” as 2T’s ultimate play at the end of the game completely stole the spotlight. Specifically, in the moment 2T used Vex’s R on Taki’s Alistar, the second activation coincided with SGB’s Support teleporting back. Thus, this ultimate ability pulled 2T all the way to the opponent’s Nexus. Fortunately for SE’s mid-laner, as soon as he sensed something was off, he quickly used Teleport and therefore, was not taken down by SGB’s fountain.
2T’s humorous situation immediately caught the attention of the international League of Legends community. Many LoL fans commented that this was truly an interesting “highlight” that accurately reflects the entertainment nature of the VCS. Some even admitted that it was this kind of entertainment that introduced them to and made them follow the VCS, especially leading them to start playing League of Legends.

The situation of 2T is actually not rare for champions with abilities that need to be activated twice in a close manner to the opponent, such as Lee Sin’s Q or Akali’s E. Some fans even went to the effort of searching for a clip where Lee Sin used his Q and followed an opponent across half the map similar to 2T’s Vex.
Currently, SE is at the bottom of the table in VCS Spring 2022, and in the SEA Games 31 qualifiers, the “Pink Chickens” were also recently dealt with beautifully by “Dog God” CERBERUS Esports. In the near future, SE needs to quickly regain its form if it doesn’t want to lose everything despite having an impressive unbeaten streak.
