Blue Card receives a strong buff, promising the return of Twisted Fate one-shot
Twisted Fate (TF) – a champion outside the meta, rarely making it to the top of the “hot” champions list but never discarded due to his flexibility in Ranked. He is often utilized in Ranked matches thanks to his ability to gank and support teammates to snowball with his ultimate.

The 10.6 update brings several significant changes: a host of new skins, a rework event for Wukong, and numerous buffs and nerfs to various champions. Fortunately for Twisted Fate, Riot has given him a substantial buff. The AP ratio of both the Blue Card and Red Card from the W – Pick a Card skill has been increased:

Previously, the one-shot Twisted Fate playstyle had shown up quite often in the URF mode and occasionally in Ranked matches, proving to be quite effective with the old Dark Harvest rune. However, after this rune was reworked, this playstyle has disappeared.
But in patch 10.6, the Blue Card of Twisted Fate has received a buff of up to 90% AP ratio, greatly enhancing his shock damage capability. In this new version, this one-shot playstyle is further upgraded, much stronger than before when combined with Yuumi:
The old Dark Harvest will be replaced by Predator. While the damage cannot compare to the old Dark Harvest, Predator significantly increases movement speed, making it easier to approach and one-hit enemies. The AP ratio of the Blue Card has also increased significantly (from 50% to 90%).
The presence of Yuumi not only adds a considerable amount of AP when attached to TF, but this “cat” also helps control and poke enemies with her Q – Prowling Projectile and R – Final Chapter before the Card Master one-shots the target. Additionally, Yuumi’s E – Zoomies helps TF approach enemies and retreat safely after taking down a target.

With this exciting combination, the playstyle of the Card Master and Cat duo Twisted Fate – Yuumi is expected to become a hot pick when patch 10.6 arrives. Check out Vandiril’s video on the PBE server to see the “broken” potential of this interesting duo!
