After a series of disappointing losses, EVOS Esports desperately needed a victory to relieve the pressure on their players, and in that context, OverPower Esports became the perfect opponent for Divkid and his teammates to quench their thirst for victory.
The match unfolded with a relatively one-sided gameplay, and the final result was a 2-0 win for the White Tigers, on a day when Zeros truly shone.
Zeros and Sorn were two names that had to bear quite a lot of pressure after the unfortunate loss to Team Flash recently; however, both of these young players showed determination in regaining their form, performing adequately against OPG.
It should also be noted that the newcomer in VCS is not a very strong opponent, so the stars from EVS took full advantage of the opportunity to secure their first victory.
In both games, Zeros was the standout player on the EVS side with an impressive KDA, while Sorn demonstrated greater composure, playing well and effectively controlling major objectives under pressure from the opponents, while other positions like Pake, Divkid, and Bie also had their moments of brilliance.

The victory against OPG has yet to help EVOS escape the bottom of the leaderboard, but it is certainly a significant morale boost and will relieve a lot of pressure on the players for the remainder of the tournament.
Currently, EVOS has only 2 matches left against Percent and Saigon Buffalo to complete the first round. Neither of these opponents is easy to deal with, but at least theoretically, they will have more opportunities when facing these two teams, instead of clashing with more formidable names. A mid-table position will definitely be a suitable goal for EVS after the first round of the VCS Summer 2020 group stage, if they can maintain the positive performance shown in this recent match.
