The Community Finds Out Why LCS Has Become So Bad – ‘Pro Players in NA Are Silver Rank with Faker’

Although Faker's standards may not be entirely accurate, the truth is that the LCS in North America has been rated too low recently.

There’s a rather humorous anecdote about Faker: during a spontaneous desire to solo 1v1 with viewers on stream, Faker was continuously bombarded with questions about whether it was reasonable to set Flash to the D or F key. Initially, he gently responded, “I will never lose to someone who sets Flash to the D key.” Of course, with his skills, winning against casual gamers is relatively simple for Faker.

However, when asked too many times, Faker bluntly stated: “Why do you Silver players like to use Flash with the D key? If you keep using Flash with the D key, you will never escape Silver rank. You cannot set Flash to D.” From there, people began to say that for Faker, setting Flash to the D key is no different from being Silver rank.

Recently, Faker clarified on stream that whether to set Flash to D or F is just a matter of personal preference, but in the minds of gamers, the Silver rank standard of the “Demon King” will always be setting Flash to the D key.

Recently, an interesting statistic on Reddit revealed that up to 64.9% of players currently competing in the LCS North America set Flash to the D key. Notably, there are three teams with no players setting Flash to the F key: Cloud 9, Fly Quest, and Team Liquid. Perhaps Faker’s comment is only partially true; the fact is that Team Liquid has played like a Silver team this season and is only ranked 9th out of 10 teams in the LCS. Meanwhile, Cloud 9 and Fly Quest have both secured spots in the top 4.

This proves why North America is so bad; Faker uses Flash on the F key.

Faker would be extremely angry if he saw this.

They are all Silver rank by Faker’s standards.

Perhaps the community is too frustrated with LCS and is looking for a 'ridiculous and unconvincing' reason to explain the poor performance of the tournament

Currently, talent in the LCS is scarce; instead, organizations choose to buy foreign players to compete. When a tournament lacks identity and local talent is not nurtured, regression is understandable. No matter what key you use for Flash, if your region can’t produce talents, it will still be labeled as “Imported League” and rated low.
