The first day of the TFT TFT APAC qualifiers in the Vietnam region went smoothly with nearly 300 players in attendance. This tournament featured many famous players and streamers, among them the highly promising Factor C – Em Chè TFT. Despite being beloved by fans, he had a rather humorous landing near the bottom of the leaderboard with 4 hilarious starting games.

Although he had a decent start with placements of 5, 3, and 4 in the first three games, the final battle of the day saw Em Chè settle at the ‘penultimate’ position. This result left many loyal fans feeling uneasy, as 16 points is easily enough to knock out any player this season. Fortunately, the chance still remains for him after he misplaced his trust in his ‘trump card’ Ekko.

Deciding to ‘redo’ in the last game, Em Chè chose the Ekko Carry playstyle after obtaining this champion early. Combining with the favored Targon trait from Riot, he confidently selected all attack cores and the diamond core Prize Draw to increase the chance of getting a 3-star Ekko early. However, despite the game favoring stronger carries like Gwen, Sena, he stubbornly held on. As a result, after a series of 8 losses, 35 health could not save Em Chè, and he unfortunately had to stop at the ‘bottom of the leaderboard’.

Although fans affectionately call him the Factor C for this season’s championship, Em Chè will need to gather more strength in the upcoming days if he doesn’t want to exit too early. While he often ‘draws up lesson plans’ for his peers, experimenting with new strategies in a significant tournament requires great caution.

There is still plenty of time and opportunity for Em Chè to ‘comeback’ with a new form, hoping that he will not disappoint his fans and achieve a high rank this season. Currently, the tournament still has many other interesting updates, with the latest developments to be continuously reported in the near future.
