Currently, TFT Set 12 has reached the PBE server – Riot’s official testing ground for League of Legends. With the announcement of no mid-season, Riot will focus on significant changes for each specific season. Therefore, it can be said that TFT Set 12 will bring entirely new mechanics for players. Not only changes in champions, traits, or mechanics like Tech Augments and upgrades, but even the operation of each piece may truly feel fresh. Amidst players flocking to the PBE server to experience the new season, the Sweet Cake trait is garnering a lot of attention for its diverse power.

Overview and Functionality
The Sweet Cake trait will provide a substantial amount of resources (champions, gold, items) at certain milestones. To visualize, this trait is quite similar to the Fortune trait from Season 10 combined with the Thief trait from Season 3. This is because players do not need to accumulate a losing streak to gain a large amount of resources, as the Sweet Cake trait also includes very strong champions that can ensure defense, magic damage, or attack power. Additionally, champions like Jinx, Bard, or Gwen also bring other traits such as Hunter, Scholar – Guardian, or Warrior – which can guarantee players a diverse composition and the ability to pivot when necessary.

In the early stages, players can opt for Rumble combined with Blitzcrank in defensive positions. Adding Tristana – Soraka can ensure just enough activation of the Sweet Cake trait while also activating the Cannoneer trait to provide significant damage. If players can roll out Jinx early, they should include her in the composition immediately, as she is the main damage dealer in the early and mid-game.

From level 5 onwards, players need to have Jinx and activate the 4 Sweet Cake trait (Rumble – Bard – Jinx – Soraka) to maximize the resources that can be collected. Additionally, bolstering the defense is crucial as all 4 champions in the backline are extremely fragile. Rumble himself is not a true tank, so increasing defensive capabilities will be a critical requirement.

In the late game, players can choose to include Olaf to activate the Hunter trait, and Ryze to activate the Scholar trait. Whether using a composition focused on attack power or magic power, priority should still be given to enhancing defense, as the damage output of the pieces becomes increasingly concerning towards the end, while Sweet Cake does not have too much durability or sufficient health.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The Sweet Cake composition will provide a large amount of resources that help players increase their power through each stage. Additionally, the diversity of damage sources can offer players more options when utilizing this trait. However, Sweet Cake has the weakness of being too fragile. Therefore, players must carefully consider the choice of items and champions to avoid getting caught up in this playstyle and facing many disadvantages towards the end of the match.
