The Power of Xayah – Beast in TFT Season 14
In TFT Season 14, the Beast tribe is a very special faction with the ability to wield unique weapons in battle to provide significant damage output. This allows players to navigate the challenging early game without needing many offensive items. Instead, prioritizing a strong frontline with Vanguard (Sylas) or Guardian (Illaoi) units is the main focus for the beast tribe in the early game.
Not stopping there, the late-game carries of the Beast tribe also possess tremendous power and can quickly take down opponents. In fact, Aurora, costing 5 gold, allows players to “cheat champions” by bringing a unit from the bench into the battlefield. Moreover, Leona’s skill interacts very effectively with Xayah, Vayne… providing the composition with an incredibly high damage output in the late game.

Building the Xayah – Beast Composition in TFT Season 14
In the early game, players should prioritize purchasing low-cost yet quality units like Sylas, Seraphine, Illaoi, and Vayne. Then, at level 4, gamers will activate the 3 Beast threshold combined with a tanky unit suitable for the match situation. Names like Vi, Raahst from the Vanguard system or Jax, Poppy from the Guardian system should be prioritized. This is because they will help the Beast champions last longer in fights and maximize the damage from the unique weapons.

Moving into the mid-game, players should add Yuumi to the composition to activate the 5 Beast threshold as soon as possible. Additionally, 3 gold Vanguard and Guardian units are strong additions to enhance the team’s resilience. Among them, Jarvan IV will be prioritized as this unit also activates the Butcher system with Vayne and adds a significant amount of damage for her.

By the late game, players will use gold upon reaching level 8 to search for Leona and Xayah to complete the 7 Beast threshold. After that, saving gold is crucial to have enough to reach level 9 to add valuable 5-cost champions like Aurora, Renekton. If Renekton cannot be purchased, other 5-cost units like Garen or Zac will be good substitutes to enhance the team’s durability.

Some Tips for Building the Composition
To optimize damage output for Xayah, players need to acquire 2 items including Infinity Edge and Spear of Shojin. The third item should be a damage amplifying support item like Giant Slayer or Spear of Repercussion. Additionally, augments that provide Gold Shovel or Beast Emblem are extremely suitable for this composition as they help players utilize high-value 5-cost units. Furthermore, players should also purchase high-value units like Zac, Kobuko, Sejuani… to keep on the bench to maximize Aurora’s ability.
