Morgana’s Rise in TFT Season 13
With a cost of only 1 gold and rather unremarkable skills, Morgana has always been considered a “system activator” in TFT Season 13. Typically, compositions related to the Black Rose and Seers clans use this unit to help true carries like Heimerdinger and Malzahar deal maximum damage. However, patch 13.4 has somewhat changed this as Riot Games significantly increased the skill damage of this unit at all levels, turning her into an extremely strong carry.

Noticing this, some high-level players have found ways to utilize Morgana by combining her with the Guardian system, yielding extremely good results. Since a strong frontline is needed to create space for casting skills, Morgana does not seem to fit well with the Black Rose composition. Meanwhile, rerolling Morgana can help players upgrade either Irelia or Singed to 3 stars and ensure excellent tankiness.
Building the Morgana – Seer Composition in TFT Season 13
In the early game, players should aim to purchase units like Morgana, Irelia, or Singed early on. Upon reaching level 4, Vex will be a necessary addition to activate the 2 Seer threshold and increase Morgana’s energy. Additionally, this unit can also combine with Irelia and another Rebel champion at level 5 to achieve the 3-unit threshold and add a bit more health and tankiness to the composition.

As a 1-cost reroll composition, players should not buy experience in the early game to optimize the chance of receiving Morgana. After upgrading the carry along with Irelia or Singed to 3 stars, players need to quickly push to level 7 in the mid-game to aim for the 4 Guardians – 4 Seers threshold. If lucky, a 1-star Illaoi at this stage will also help players achieve a fairly simple winning streak.

Towards the end of the game, players can aim to reach level 9 and add Nunu and Malzahar to the composition. These units will enhance tankiness, damage, and especially the extremely powerful 6 Seers threshold. With the buffs and the ability to heal starting from the 6 champions threshold, the Seers will make the frontline champions extremely resilient and hard to take down.

Some Tips for Building the Composition
To optimize damage output, Morgana needs to have Blue Buff, Rabadon’s Deathcap, and either Archangel’s Staff or Giant Slayer (depending on the situation). Upgrades like Starfall Night and Prize Ticket… will help players speed up the process of upgrading the composition to 3 stars, so they should be prioritized. Additionally, anomalies that provide strong tankiness for Irelia or Singed are always prioritized at the end of the game to allow the carry to deal maximum damage.
