Kindred
In fact, Kindred is not a weak carry, as this unit has been continuously buffed by Riot in recent patches. However, with the superior power of the “fast 8” playstyle and the 4-cost carries, Kindred has very few opportunities to shine in TFT. Nevertheless, this champion is still trusted by experts to “carry the team” provided they possess the Artifact item named Death’s Dance.

This item interacts exceptionally well with Kindred by providing a significant amount of magic damage after using skills. It should be noted that Kindred only has a maximum of 30 energy and is frequently equipped with Blue Buff. Therefore, this unit can continuously activate the effect of Death’s Dance and deal extremely high damage.

Moreover, this damage can also critically hit and works just like normal skills. Thus, with additional items like the Gemstone Core or the item Guardian’s Gauntlet, Kindred can “transform into a god” with an incredibly high damage output. This allows this unit to snowball effectively with the additional healing effect from defeating enemies thanks to the Forest God trait.
Bard
Once a dominant force in the early versions of TFT Season 11, Bard was heavily nerfed to the point of disappearing from the meta afterward. However, this mystical being is gradually making a comeback after the introduction of the Artifact item system. The item that makes Bard powerful again is the Spellblade.

Simply put, Spellblade increases magic damage on hits and heals for 35% of the magic damage dealt. This effect synergizes perfectly with Bard’s skill and typical item builds, significantly boosting this unit’s damage output. Furthermore, with the rise of the Brawler trait, Bard has more time to stack up Guinsoo’s Rageblade and become very hard to stop.
Gnar
Similar to Kindred, Gnar has also been nerfed quite a bit and fell out of the meta before being “rescued” by the Artifact item system. What is noteworthy here is that Gnar interacts very strongly with an item that was initially thought to be useless when the Artifact items were announced. Specifically, Gnar is highly regarded by many experts in the LPL Super Server when equipped with the Bloodthirster.

Essentially, this item will increase damage on hits and provide significant healing for the champion that possesses it. In return, that unit cannot use skills or regain energy. It should be noted that Gnar’s skill simply deals damage in a straight line and has no additional effects. Furthermore, when compared, Gnar needs to perform 6 attacks to use his skill and deal damage equivalent to 290% AD (at 3-star level). Meanwhile, with the same 6 attacks from the Bloodthirster, the damage dealt from the passive is already 300% AD.

Moreover, with the significant lifesteal increase from Bloodthirster, players are allowed to use Infinity Edge for Gnar. At that point, the damage output of this unit will be much higher and completely compensate for the inability to use skills. This wonderful synergy makes Gnar an extremely strong carry with high damage and excellent survivability in battles.
