This morning on June 2nd, the update Teamfight Tactics 10.11 has arrived for Vietnamese players, which means that version 10.12 with many changes is closer than ever. Among the new additions to the auto chess genre, Urgot, Janna, Viktor, and Vayne are the new “core” champions in many team compositions.

If you don’t have time to watch the lengthy test videos on the PBE server, readers can check out the summarized information below. This will guide how to use these champions effectively and avoid falling behind in the early game.
Vayne
Skill: Final Hour: Vayne enters a focused state for 10 seconds, immediately – and every third subsequent attack – dashes away from her current target. Vayne becomes invisible while dashing, and the first attack after dashing deals 180/200/240% AD.
Damage percentage: 180% / 200% / 240%.

Vayne is the 7th Cybernetic champion to appear in the mid-season update 3. She will be a crucial addition, allowing players to rely less on Ekko in the late game and potentially gain the 6 Cybernetic buff as early as mid-game. Vayne also unlocks various team compositions after you achieve this goal (including focusing on buffs from Blademaster, Assassin, Gunner, and even Marksman) for 7th or 8th champion slots.
Viktor
Skill: Viktor fires a death ray between two targets and the farthest from those two targets, dealing damage based on 25/40/100% of their maximum health, followed by an additional 250/400/1000 damage after 1 second in that area.

Viktor appears as one of the core units of the Mecha tribe, his skill is quite interesting as it targets the two furthest champions and deals additional damage to the champions located between them.

With high skill damage and percentage health burn, Viktor can instantly delete opponents who dare to cluster their formations too closely. This opens up many formation strategies and counters against opponents when you are using or facing Viktor on the other side. With Viktor’s items, you only need to focus on items that enhance AP and energy. You can place him anywhere on the board but need to avoid potential dangers like Blitzcrank.
Urgot
Skill: Urgot fires a drill at the farthest target from his attack range, pulling that target towards him and dealing 2000 true damage continuously until the target dies or reaches Urgot, reducing mana cost by 10/20/60.

Riot knows how to innovate when designing new 5-cost units. The source of Urgot’s power lies in his skill, the Death Drill, which will pull the farthest unit within range and deal 2000 true damage continuously (even champions with high health like Brawlers struggle to survive), and even Guardian Angel won’t save the target. With just one energy item, Urgot can reduce the enemy team count right at the start of the fight.

Because Urgot’s ability can eliminate enemies instantly, you will want to keep your team alive as long as possible. Buffs from the Mecha and Mystic tribes will be very suitable for a unit like Urgot, not to mention you can completely go for a Protector – Cosmic build to create an immortal Urgot.
Janna
Skill: Janna summons 5 tornadoes that fly straight ahead. These tornadoes grant allies 50/100/500% attack speed each time they pass by within 5 seconds and knock up and stun enemies for 1.5 seconds upon contact.

Janna is another interesting 5-cost unit we will discuss next; her skill to support and protect allies is truly excellent, but it is the Paragon (Saintly) buff that makes Janna unique in Teamfight Tactics.
