In the current phase of TFT Set 6, players have experimented with numerous compositions, including popular trends with guaranteed quality such as Chemtech and Challenger… Notably, some Traits possess unique mechanics like Mutant, which combines aspects from various previous seasons, or Tahm Kench, who gains strength by devouring champions. Furthermore, the introduction of Augments also enhances the creativity and excitement of this season compared to previous ones.
One of the most favored champions right now is Cho’Gath – the Mutant – Brawler – Colossal champion. However, this seemingly “clunky” name can transform into a true “tank” when combined with a Chemtech composition.

Overview and Operation
As a 3-star champion, Cho’Gath has the ability to infinitely scale in power thanks to the mechanic of gaining health each time he takes down an enemy piece. Therefore, Cho’Gath at the front line serves as both a barrier and a source of quality damage. Moreover, his 3 gold cost makes it relatively easy to upgrade, allowing him to hold strong toward the end of the game. Combined with Chemtech, this champion’s damage will be incredibly potent.
Early in the game, if players are lucky enough to get Cho’Gath early, it indicates that they should quickly deploy this composition. With Cho’Gath occupying 2 slots on the board, players need to be at least level 5 to implement a 4 champion setup, which is considered the standard level for the early game when playing a composition with Cho’Gath.

Moving into the mid-game, players can opt for Chemtech (if they only have one Trait Augment) or Chemtech – Brawler (if they have multiple Trait Augments). However, it is crucial to note that the necessary Augment here is the Chemtech Death’s Touch. Thus, the composition in this article will be Cho’Gath Chemtech. In the mid to late game, Cho’Gath and Zac will be essential for triggering the Brawler trait. Damage will come from Cho’Gath, Twitch, Warwick, and Lissandra.

In the late game, if fortunate, players may level up to 8 or 9. Since Cho’Gath takes up 2 slots, at least level 9 is required to have all necessary champions. However, even at level 8, players can still have a strong enough composition to reach top 1. The completed composition (at level 8) will include: Cho’Gath – Zac – Dr. Mundo – Kai’Sa – Viktor – Lissandra – Tahm Kench. If reaching level 9, players can add a Mage, Scholar, or Challenger to support triggering the Trait.

Strengths and Weaknesses
This composition is not afraid of being burst down quickly as all champions are sturdy and possess mobility or self-defense mechanisms. Additionally, triggering the Brawler trait also provides a significant amount of health for the champions in this lineup.
The main weakness is that this composition relies heavily on Trait Augments and Cho’Gath achieving 3 stars early. Furthermore, it mandatorily requires the Chemtech Death’s Touch Augment. Additionally, many 5-cost champions can also pose a significant obstacle. However, if the necessary conditions are met, players can easily achieve at least top 2, and potentially top 1 with good luck and proper positioning of the champions.
