What Makes Blademasters Strong?
If you haven’t noticed, the Teamfight Tactics meta leans heavily towards physical damage compositions, and the B.F. Sword is an incredibly valuable item, leading many players to utilize champions like Shaco, Cannoneer, and Marksman… However, this item line is also suitable for Blademasters, so in cases where you can’t play according to the meta, you can choose this system to utilize your items effectively.

Furthermore, Blademasters have various build paths and synergize well with many other champions. You can play 3 Blademasters alongside strong champions to maintain health and extend your late game. The final advantage of Blademasters is that they do not rely on 5-cost champions; both key units Irelia and Kayle are 4-cost champions, allowing you to own units at 2/3 stars during the stage of level 8.

Building the Composition
In the early game, it’s ideal to have 3 Cybernetic units early on; if not, you can play anything to maintain health and secure win streaks. Regardless, make sure to buy as many Fioras as possible; she is a unit with decent survivability and will help you get through the initial rounds quite easily.

Moving into the mid-game, you should aim to secure the 3 Blademaster combo as soon as possible to ensure damage output. The best-case scenario is to get Shen and Ezreal early and supplement them with two good damage-dealing combos: Cannoneer and Chrono, which will greatly support your composition. Lucian will likely be your main damage dealer during this phase, so look for ways to protect him and provide some damage items.

Towards the end of the game, aiming to complete the 6 Blademaster combo early is a critical goal; it boosts the damage of your two main units, Kayle and Irelia, to carry you to victory. In the later stages, a good choice will be Thresh, who adds some Chrono for attack speed and increases Irelia’s annoyance with the Sorcerer trait. If you have the means to level up to 9, Miss Fortune is the optimal choice to activate the Divine trait for Kayle.

Suitable Items
Starting with Lucian, attack speed items are the most suitable for him, Red Buff is the most common and also the strongest item. Next for the two main carries, Irelia and Kayle, for Irelia you can build similarly to Shaco with the combo of Infinity Edge + Bloodthirster + Guardian Angel, or a Deathblade for a strong disable effect is also very good.

For Kayle, the two essential items are Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Hand of Justice; for the third item, you can choose between a defensive item or another offensive item. If the enemy team lacks Assassins and has a strong frontline, Giant Slayer or Bow will be extremely effective to help Kayle sweep the enemy team. In conclusion, 6 Blademasters is a composition that few players use, so the chances of being countered are quite low; if you’re looking for a strong, interesting team comp to play during the quarantine, this is an excellent choice.
