Brand
Although he is only a 1-cost champion, Brand’s VIP effect is incredibly strong in terms of damage output. Specifically, when in VIP form, Brand will unleash 2 fireballs, making it much easier to trigger the stun effect and deal additional damage to opponents who were previously burned. With only a maximum of 20 energy, Brand needs a Blue Buff to continuously cast spells and stun multiple enemies.

Because of this incredibly strong VIP effect, you don’t need to activate a large Mage threshold for Brand to deal significant damage. This is because the stun effect itself is already attached to a very powerful amount of damage, so at the start of the game, just reaching 2 Mages is sufficient. Instead, you should use Scholar and Guardian units to ensure abundant energy for the team along with good tanking abilities to shield Brand and allow him to cast spells as much as possible.
Draven
One of Draven’s significant weaknesses in the past was his attack range of only 3 tiles, making him susceptible to area-of-effect skills or Assassins. However, in Teamfight Tactics Season 6.5, this weakness is completely rectified as he gains infinite attack range in VIP form. This allows Draven to stand in a very safe position while comfortably dealing damage, as long as the frontline is strong enough.

Furthermore, this effect also grants Draven 50% armor penetration, so he is not reliant on a Blade of the Ruined King like many other physical carry champions. This allows Draven to hold items that enhance attack, healing, or other defensive effects without worrying about opponents having too much armor. A tip when playing VIP Draven is to stop at 3 Elegant and 2 Challenger, as this unit already possesses a lot of damage, so you should prioritize tank champions.
Zeri
It’s no exaggeration to say that among the Elegant champions, Zeri probably has the largest power disparity between being VIP and not. When not in VIP form, Zeri appears extremely weak as she requires energy items to continuously activate her skills. This indirectly leads to Zeri missing out on a large amount of damage because she cannot hold all 3 damage or attack speed-enhancing items. This makes Zeri very vulnerable to being taken down if the opponent has a strong Assassin setup.

In contrast, with Zeri in VIP form, she only needs to use her skill once for the effect to last until the end of the round without needing to cast it again. At that point, Zeri’s ability to deal damage across multiple targets is extremely strong and can easily carry you to victory. Essentially, a team composition with VIP Zeri as the main carry is not too different from one centered around Draven; the only difference is that instead of activating Challenger, you will take the Marksman effect instead.
