Knight – Doom
This composition combines the damage mitigation effect of Knights, damage reduction from the Knight class, and the large armor provided by the Armored tribe. Coupled with the strong crowd control capabilities of Rell and Morgana, the Knight – Doom composition boasts incredibly powerful tanking abilities. If you can equip Hecarim with a Flame Cloak or a Shadow Bolt Bow, making it into the top 4 is not difficult at all. Although it’s not extremely popular, this composition still causes a lot of trouble for opponents.

However, this composition has been heavily nerfed in the position of Rell in patch 11.10 as her crowd control capabilities are no longer as strong. Even another important unit, Morgana, has seen a reduction in both damage and ability range. These changes have made the Knight – Doom composition more prone to failure and lacking a significant health advantage in the later stages. With the weakness of not having a real carry in the late game, you are very likely to be eliminated from the top 4 with the Knight – Doom composition.
Dark Sorcerer – Rebirth
Before patch 11.10 was updated, this was an incredibly dominant composition with tremendous damage output from 3-star units like Lissandra, Vladimir, and LeBlanc. They would help players achieve long winning streaks, accumulating a lot of gold to roll for expensive champions in the later stages. However, Riot has heavily nerfed this composition by reducing the power of all 3 Dark Sorcerer units in patch 11.10. Additionally, another Rebirth unit, Heimerdinger, has also been significantly nerfed in this patch.

With the crowd control abilities of LeBlanc and Morgana being nerfed, opponents of the Dark Sorcerer – Rebirth composition will have more opportunities to deal damage back. If you are not lucky enough to upgrade your composition early, experiencing a long losing streak is hard to avoid. Perhaps to operate this composition well, you need to have at least 3-star Lissandra and Vladimir very early on. If not, other spell-casting carries like Vel’Koz and Karma will be much safer options for players in the late game.
Spirit Mage – Marksman
Although Riot has fixed the bug for Aphelios, the price to pay is that this champion has had his base damage significantly reduced in patch 11.10. This has caused the damage output of the Spirit Mage – Marksman composition to drop considerably when Aphelios plays the role of the main carry. Even the secondary carry of this composition, Mordekaiser, has already been nerfed in terms of damage previously. Therefore, the Spirit Mage – Marksman team is easily left lacking in damage to finish off opponents.

The advice is that you should not build the composition in the old way of just aiming for 2 Marksman with Kindred in the late game. You should take advantage of the power of Varus, Vayne, and aim for the 4 Marksman threshold to ensure damage output in all stages of the match. Additionally, the 4 Marksman composition also allows Teamfight Tactics players to utilize the newly buffed crowd control immunity effect of the Mystic tribe.
