Trundle
The Warrior composition previously faced a significant issue: it lacked a strong unit to deal effective damage early in the game. Units like Udyr and Kennen only served to annoy opponents with their effects. Meanwhile, the 3-cost Warrior units were too difficult to upgrade to 2 stars in the early stages. This was part of the reason why the Warrior composition struggled in patch 11.9.

However, with the update in patch 11.10, everything changed as Trundle is now as powerful as a true god. With a reduction of 10 points in maximum energy, Trundle can now utilize his skill to steal health, armor/magic resistance, and attack damage very early. Coupled with an increase in base attack speed, Trundle can deal tremendous damage in the early game without needing items. Therefore, leveling Trundle to 2 stars early is crucial for building a 6 Warrior team.
Lux
Before patch 11.10, Lux could be considered an overlooked champion as her shield skill had a bug and could not buff allies if they were too far away. Riot recognized this and made a fix so that Lux could better protect her allies. However, the real reason Lux is being utilized now is that the Vel’Koz composition has become incredibly popular in Teamfight Tactics in recent days.

Essentially, the Vel’Koz composition will include 4 Mages along with 2-3 frontline units. For the final piece, you need to find a unit that can trigger the synergy and has a skill to protect the main damage dealer, Vel’Koz. Lux is chosen as she meets all these requirements. In fact, Lux’s relatively low damage can actually be an advantage, as she can position herself at a distance from the team to “bait” dangerous skills from the opponents.
Brand
In reality, the reduction of 100 magic damage at 1-star for Brand’s skill doesn’t carry much significance. This champion still has the ability to reduce the opponent’s magic resistance, allowing other damage dealers to deal damage effectively. With the Vel’Koz – Mage composition being very popular recently, Brand has garnered even more attention from players. This is a champion that will help gamers avoid losing a lot of health and have enough time to roll for Vel’Koz.

If you acquire Brand early, you can certainly consider combining 4 Mages with the Undead trait at the end of the game. This playstyle will give players an additional way to approach the backline of the opponent instead of relying entirely on Vel’Koz’s skill. The advice is to equip Blue Buff on Brand so this champion can take on the damage-dealing responsibility in the early game.
