Teamfight Tactics: The Worst Traits – Classes in Radiant Form in Patch 11.2 That Players Should Avoid

Not all traits - classes in Teamfight Tactics are strong in Radiant form; sometimes they can be a trap for players.

Fortune

From the very beginning of season 4, Fortune has been considered a “fun-first” trait that players should not use to climb the ranks. The basic theory is that the more you lose, the greater the rewards you receive from Fortune. However, many players do not know how to secure victories after a long losing streak to claim rewards from Fortune. As a result, they get stuck with this trait and are eliminated very early.

Even Radiant Fortune is an even bigger trap that can lead players to quick defeat. To effectively use this composition, players need to have the ability to observe and recognize the strength of their team compared to other players. Only then can you choose the right moment to claim rewards from Fortune to secure a victory. If you haven’t reached that level yet, it’s best to abandon Fortune and use more stable compositions like Duelist or Brawler to climb the ranks.

Legends

There is a paradox here; the Legend units are extremely strong, yet this Radiant trait is very weak. The reason is that to make Legends strong, you need all three champions: Nautilus, Neeko, and Cho’Gath. If you take Radiant Legends and leave out one of those three units, the power of this trait will decrease significantly. You can still use all three Legend units even with the Radiant trait, but doing so would waste this effect.

In the Legend trait, Nautilus plays the role of a tank, Cho’Gath provides crowd control, and Neeko is responsible for dealing damage. If you skip any one of these three units, your composition will not function well. You might find yourself lacking damage or crowd control, making it difficult to secure victories. Therefore, the advice is not to use Radiant Legends; save this effect for stronger traits – classes.

Innovator

Although not a particularly weak trait, Radiant Innovator often causes difficulties for players when building their team composition. The general mindset of players is to play around the Radiant champion they possess. However, Radiant Innovator only provides defensive capabilities, so your team might easily fall into a situation of lacking damage. In the current meta, this is no different from “asking to lose.”

Furthermore, Ahri being removed from Teamfight Tactics has also caused the Radiant Innovator playstyle to lose its place. Basically, you should still buy units like Wukong, Garen, or Nautilus in Radiant form to ensure a decent frontline at the beginning of the game. However, players should not hold onto those units until the end of the game; sell them off at levels 7-8 to acquire stronger carries.
