Mage – Undead

In reality, the composition revolving around 4 Mages is not something new in Teamfight Tactics season 5. With Vel’Koz having an incredibly high skill damage, the Mage system always proves to be strong in the late game. The special point of patch 11.10 is that players look to combine 4 Mages with 3 Undead to take advantage of the significant buffs Riot has given to this tribe. Specifically, both the damage and health stats of the Mutant Undead have been increased in patch 11.10.

Furthermore, using Ryze and Lux also makes the Mage – Undead composition incredibly resilient in the late game with significant magic resistance. Another strength of combining with the Undead tribe is that you can disrupt the enemy team’s formation with the knock-up ability from the Mutant Undead. This is considered an ideal condition for Vel’Koz to deal maximum damage and help players secure the final victory.

Mystic – Divine

In patch 11.10, both Mystic and Divine have been buffed significantly by Riot, enhancing their defensive capabilities. First, the Mystic system can now increase up to 200 magic resistance at 4 champions. Meanwhile, the crowd control immunity duration for Divine at 2/3 champions has been increased to 5/8 seconds. Combining these two elements gives us a composition that is not only tough and crowd control resistant but also possesses a substantial amount of damage with the help of Kayle.

The weakness of this composition is that it is very expensive and requires players to have excellent gold management skills. Therefore, the advice is not to aim for this composition right from the early game. Players need to build the strongest possible composition and only switch to the Mystic – Divine team when they roll out Kindred, Kayle, and Ryze. If you choose Kayle as your carry, you should equip items like Guardian Angel, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, and Infinity Edge for this champion.

Mage – Dragon

In patch 11.10, many Mage and Dragon units have been significantly buffed by Riot Games, such as Yasuo, Pantheon, Lee Sin, and Trundle. When combining these units in the Mage – Dragon composition, players will possess an incredibly high power level in the mid-game. The special thing about this composition is that the Mage and Dragon effects provide a lot of damage for champions. Therefore, just a few basic items are enough for this composition to win and snowball the game.

The main carry of this composition will be Yasuo with items like Rapid Firecannon, Runaan’s Hurricane. For the third item, you can use Infinity Edge, Thief’s Gloves, Bloodthirster… for Yasuo. In the late game, the secret to this composition’s victory is to equip Frozen Heart for Diana. These items will help Diana significantly reduce the damage dealt from the enemy team’s carries.
