Natural Evolution
Essentially, in Teamfight Tactics, health and gold are the two most important resources players need to secure victory. Keeping these two resources as high as possible will give you a greater chance to build your desired and strongest team composition. With the Natural Evolution augment, you no longer need to spend gold on experience, allowing you to freely reroll for the champions you want at every stage of the game.
Not stopping there, with the effect of automatically gaining 5 experience after each round, this augment will help you level up to levels 6 or 7 faster than others. You can fully utilize this to reroll and upgrade your units to 3 stars ahead of your opponents. This becomes even easier as the Natural Evolution augment has already saved you a lot of gold. Therefore, if you start with the Diamond augment and see Natural Evolution appear, be sure to choose it immediately.
Tech Fusion (Gold tier and above)
In the early game, stats such as attack damage and health are crucial factors that make your team stronger and help you secure winning streaks. Therefore, the Tech Fusion augment (Gold tier and above) is an incredibly strong starting choice as it provides your team with a significant amount of health and attack damage at a very low cost by granting each champion a single item. It can be said that with minimal investment (only 1 item for each champion), you will gain immense benefits in terms of power with this augment.
However, the downside of the Tech Fusion augment is that it is not very strong in the late game, especially in team compositions that revolve around a single core unit. Additionally, the Tech Fusion augment at Silver tier does not provide an outstanding amount of stats, so it is advisable to only choose it at Gold tier and above. The only team composition suitable for this augment is likely the Recycling Team, as this trait can generate a large amount of shields from component items, synergizing extremely well with Tech Fusion.
Legendary Forge
With the release of patch 12.2, the Legendary Forge augment has become significantly more valuable as it has been downgraded from Diamond to Gold tier. Previously, this was a weak augment as other Diamond upgrades were extremely strong and often only appeared in the late game. Meanwhile, items from the Legendary Forge augment were quite difficult to use in the late game, especially when most players’ core units were fully equipped.
Nevertheless, being a Gold tier augment means it can appear as early as the beginning of the game and provide significant power to your team. Essentially, the items from the Legendary Forge are still much stronger than standard items in the early game, when resources are still quite limited. Imagine how resilient a 2-star Poppy would become with an Eternal Winter or how formidable Taric would be with Spirit Visage, for example.
