As we enter the final stages of TFT Season 6, players are getting increasingly “creative” with various team compositions to climb the ranks or simply to enjoy the game. Some builds fit the meta perfectly and quickly become popular, while others are unique and not always viable. One such build is the Twitch Challenger 8, a “budget-friendly” option that demands a lot of skill and a bit of luck.

Overview and Operation
For a build centered around a 1-cost champion like Twitch, star levels and proper items are crucial. Additionally, this build requires the Challenger emblem, which can be obtained from the Augment or crafted with a Wooden Bow and a Gold Shovel. Moreover, since this is a pure Challenger team, it will be quite fragile and lacks any real tank champions.
Since Twitch is a low-cost champion and can be picked up from the shared draft round, players won’t have trouble acquiring him early on. However, it’s essential to consider that if Twitch doesn’t have the Giant Slayer or Wooden Bow, he shouldn’t be selected. In the early stage, having the right items is more important. However, players can also build an early game composition with Twitch – Singed – Warwick – Camille.

Moving into the mid-game, players need to meet a few conditions: have the Challenger emblem or get Twitch close to 3 stars. Since he is a 1-cost champion and is not highly contested, players should quickly level up this champion. Replace Singed with Quinn/Samira/Katarina and keep one slot open for Zac to continue activating Chemtech for attack speed and healing for Twitch in case the Challenger emblem is not yet available. If you reach level 6, you can bring both Quinn and Samira into the game at the same time.

In the late game, Twitch needs to have the Challenger emblem, Blade of the Ruined King, and a Green Bow/Critical Strike Sword, as he is the main carry. Replace Zac with Fiora to equip tank items for her. Bring Yone into the game and try to roll for Kai’Sa to complete the 8 Challenger build consisting of: Camille – Warwick – Quinn – Samira – Yone – Fiora – Kai’Sa – Twitch.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The most obvious strength of this composition is its attack speed, which is indisputable. Especially if Twitch is accidentally placed in the wrong position, there are still reliable damage sources like Yone, Fiora, and Samira. Additionally, reaching level 8 is not too difficult for players to upgrade. And importantly, the Challenger emblem can be crafted without needing an Augment.

However, since this composition revolves around a 1-cost champion, if players do not have the right levels and items, as well as failing to dominate opponents early on, they can easily fall behind in the late game. Additionally, relying on the emblem can also be a “double-edged sword” if players cannot meet this requirement in time. But overall, this is a relatively easy composition to play, not requiring the activation of additional traits. For players looking to test their luck, the Twitch 8 Challenger is definitely worth trying out.
