With dozens of champions and different traits, choosing the right team composition is an incredibly challenging decision for Teamfight Tactics players due to the overwhelming number of options. Therefore, some high-level players or those with a good understanding of the game have opted for a more precise approach, specifically selecting team compositions based on items. The reason is quite simple: champions can be rolled, while items are limited in quantity that can be obtained in a match.

For high-level players, they can do this easily because they play more than we do and have a vast amount of knowledge about Teamfight Tactics. For average players, it is very difficult to choose a team composition because our experiences are insufficient, and sometimes we don’t even know which items we currently have are suitable for building which team.

For example, if you have about 2 Training Gloves, the Hyper-roll Xayah team composition is extremely suitable

Understanding this, a Teamfight Tactics player with the Reddit username u/Rob_Fjord has designed a website called TFT Seer, aimed at helping players accurately choose the team composition they need to build based on the items they currently own. His creation has received a flood of praise from the community for its intuitiveness and practicality for gamers.

The usage is incredibly simple; you click on the items you own in the All Items section, and they will appear in the Your Items section. Once done, you can see a list of team compositions that utilize those items, sorted from strongest to weakest. You can rest assured that the suggested team compositions are the standard builds as TFTSeer takes information from the specialized site LoLchess.gg.

Another interesting point of this site is that it suggests which item you should pick in the shared selection round. According to the creator of this product, the item with a gold border in the All Items section (currently the B.F. Sword) is the item you should prioritize picking in the shared selection round. This item is commonly found in S-tier team compositions, and you should aim to acquire it.

This is indeed a fantastic tool for new players to accurately select the team composition they need to build without being overwhelmed by the myriad of guides and strong team compositions available online. Simply playing according to the items you have is often sufficient to climb the ranks. If you’re still unsure how to build your team, TFTSeer is an incredibly useful tool, and you can experience it at TFTSeer.com.
