Kai’Sa remains strong even outside the Void composition

Since the introduction of Teamfight Tactics season 9, players have been greatly impressed by the Void tribe’s ability to summon Baron. However, reality has shown that building an 8 Void composition is quite challenging. As a result, many experts have shifted to using Kai’Sa combined with the Challenger system, achieving extremely high effectiveness.

Building the Kai’Sa – Challenger Composition

In the early game, activating the 3 Ionia trait with Irelia, Jhin, and Zed is crucial. This helps players possess good damage and durability to get through the early game phase. Additionally, Viego and Maokai are also units that should be used to enhance Zed’s durability and damage.

Moving into the mid-game, Kalista and Taric will be champions that should be added to the composition. Kalista will provide the ability to eliminate high-health targets with her skill. Meanwhile, Taric brings the ability to protect frontline champions such as Irelia, Maokai, Zed… and helps them sustain in fights much better.

After reaching level 8, players should replace Maokai with Shen and swap Zed for Yasuo. Kai’Sa and Gwen are also worthy core units to invest in, as they provide excellent magic damage. Additionally, a Soraka unit in the backline will help the composition gain healing (from this unit’s skill) and energy (from the Summoner system).

Regarding the Legendary choices, Veigar will help players obtain the Gemstone core early to increase magic damage. Additionally, Twisted Fate remains a solid choice to help Kai’Sa or Yasuo acquire their “core items” early on. For Kai’Sa, this champion will need the Infinity Edge, Archangel’s Staff, and Guinsoo’s Rageblade.

Conclusion

With no dependence on 5-cost champions, the Kai’Sa – Challenger composition has a relatively simple yet highly effective build. This promises to be an extremely effective rank-climbing strategy for players pursuing the style of accumulating gold to level 8.
