Although Lillia was one of the champions buffed the most in patch 12.13 of Teamfight Tactics, she seems to have yet to find her ideal niche. Players trying to utilize her Mage trait don’t seem to see much effect. Instead, some top players from China have recognized Lillia’s power within the Dragonmancer composition. Let’s explore how this composition is built.

At the start of the match, you should aim for a composition that can both attack and defend, such as Protector – Ranger. Additionally, Sejuani is a champion worth purchasing at this stage as she provides a significant amount of health for the entire team. You can use Twitch in the backline to activate the 2 Syndicate bonus and provide extra health.

By mid-game, what you need to do now is complete the 4 Dragonmancer threshold as soon as possible to ensure stable damage output. Twitch should still be retained as his attack speed stats greatly benefit Olaf and Diana in dealing damage. You can even equip the Knight emblem on Olaf so that he becomes both tanky and can quickly reach targets.

Your main gameplay strategy at this point will be to regularly refresh the store to upgrade key champions such as Lillia and Braum to 3 stars. After achieving this goal, you should aim to level up to 7, add Talon to the composition, and continue refreshing the store to upgrade Olaf or Diana to 3 stars.
If you have a winning streak and a large amount of gold, you might consider leveling up to 8 and adding Hecarim to your composition. This champion has powerful crowd control, excellent tankiness with the Knight trait, and can effectively disable the opponent’s frontline. In case upgrading Olaf or Diana to 3 stars takes too long, this composition can still help you secure points without needing to hit level 8.

Regarding the choice of augment, all upgrades related to the Knight trait should be prioritized when using Lillia. They will make this champion both hard to kill and deal significant damage. Augments that empower Dragonmancers are also excellent for this composition as they add substantial damage to Diana, Olaf, or Lillia.
For item builds, the two essential items to prioritize are the Stormbow and the Justice Hand. For the third item, you can craft the Giant Slayer if you’re lacking damage, Warmog’s Armor for health, or Dragon’s Claw if you need tankiness. Additionally, versatile items that counter opponents, such as Frozen Heart or Seraph’s Embrace, should be equipped for Diana.
