With Kai’Sa being removed from Teamfight Tactics, many believe that Pilot compositions will disappear due to a significant reduction in mid-game damage. However, top players of Teamfight Tactics think otherwise, and they have researched, tested, and created the Destruction Robot composition, which can be said to be the strongest version of the Pilot team ever.

What makes this new composition so powerful is the addition of significant late-game strength with quality units like Viktor and Gangplank. It will address the weakness of the Pilot team’s backline damage, especially in a meta where Gunner, Marksman, or Sorcerer compositions are on the rise.
Because it focuses more on the late game, the mindset for building the Destruction Robot team is entirely different from the old Pilot compositions. You will no longer stop at level 7; instead, you will save gold and level up to 8. The composition may be a bit weak in the mid-game, but it will be incredibly dominant at the end of the match.

In the early game, the way to build your composition won’t be too different from before; you will still prioritize acquiring low-cost units like Zed and Nocturne to ensure damage output. For the frontline, you can use anything as long as it survives and buys as much time as possible for the Assassins to attack the backline.

In the mid-game, your ultimate goal is to find all 3 Pilots; this will be the first power spike you need to achieve during the mid-game. After reaching this milestone, you will continue to save gold and level up to 8. As mentioned earlier, the Super Robot is just half the issue; to make it truly devastating, you’ll have to wait until the end of the game.

When you reach level 8, there are two things you need to do to ensure victory: first, you need a sufficient amount of damage-dealing items. If you have many AP items, focus the items on Gangplank; if you have many BF Swords or physical damage items, Shaco is the best main option.
Essentially, the Super Robot is a form of “cheating” in strength within Teamfight Tactics, especially in the mid-game, as adding strong late-game units like Viktor or Gangplank will address the Pilot composition’s late-game weaknesses. It can be said that this is the strongest version a Pilot team can achieve.
