A few days ago, Riot Games announced the return of the Nexus Raid mode to League of Legends with a stunning new look. However, the map in the Ionia Forest theme wasn’t the most surprising aspect for the community, as on the first day of its launch, this mode gave rise to “Super Thief Kid” with the ability to steal the enemy’s Nexus:
Immediately after this video went viral, many viewers chimed in to “roast Riot’s 200 years of game development experience” with comments like:

Syndra was heavily buffed before the release of her new skin.

This means that Tahm Kench can ‘eat’ that tower as well. Maybe that will fill his gluttonous belly.

At this point, a Riot employee stepped in to acknowledge the issue and explained that the situation where Syndra stole the enemy’s Nexus was due to the in-game structures being programmed like a… minion, only a bit more special than usual (similar to Rift Herald or Baron). Therefore, in the unfinished Nexus Raid version, Syndra could easily steal the Nexus like that.
Ultimately, since this mode is as beloved as URF, the community hopes Riot will minimize game bugs to avoid creating horrifying glitches like the recent one with Poppy in League of Legends.
