With continuous adjustments through minor patches or official updates, Teamfight Tactics Season 5 has also produced many new metas that are not only powerful but also ensure a factor of “unique – strange”. Alongside the early-season LeBlanc “chained god”, recently we can mention the immortal 3-star Hecarim with Dark Shuriken or the 3-star Warwick with the Rod that can dominate every matchup…

But if you want a change of pace and are not interested in the usual brute-force styles anymore, players can try a composition full of long-legged champions. But don’t be fooled by the female champions, thinking they are “delicate and weak”, as Rell and Leona are ideal names to create a very solid frontline.
In the early game, it’s important to have a balance of damage and defense. One thing to note is that during this phase, if there are any female champions available, take them all to be able to swap them in as needed. With a price of 1 gold, Kalista and Leona are two names that can almost certainly be obtained, even completing the 2-star threshold early. After that, adding names like Lissandra/Soraka/Syndra/LeBlanc for multi-target damage from a distance would be the best choice of all.
Typically, high-ranking players will not determine their compositions early, at least not until the Stone Golem stage if the champions available belong to many different Traits/Factions. One of the currently strong female champion compositions is the Dark Mage Katarina build, which has enough names to activate the Mage trait with Diana and Morgana. After that, with this composition, players can add Lux (to activate the Mystic trait for increased defense) and another name (Syndra, Kayle if available) to activate the Celestial trait or even Leona if they want to ensure maximum reliability.

The weakness of this composition is that it requires the right items for Katarina, and other champions must be sturdy enough for the Noxian Blade to have time to “dance around”. However, this is a powerful composition that does not depend on overly expensive or easily contested champions (except for Kayle).
Another composition is the Legion – Celestial with Riven as the core. This is a composition that has everything from buffs (Soraka, Lux), hard crowd control (Ashe, Riven, Rell, Sejuani), along with sufficient both area damage and single-target damage. Moreover, if playing around Riven, it’s not hard to reach 3 stars as this champion only costs 3 gold. The weakness of this composition is primarily dependent on whether Riven can reach 3 stars at the right moment because generally, at 2 stars, this champion is not strong enough to carry the team.

Another team comp that players can consider is the Rebirth – Dark Mage composition revolving around Soraka, which has been favored by some players recently when they want to “change things up”. However, the weakness of this composition is that it lacks a truly solid champion. Morgana and Riven can provide a frontline, but they can only ensure a top 4 finish, making it difficult to climb higher. Additionally, depending on the defense from Mystic could be a double-edged sword if the positioning of the champions is not arranged properly.
In general, female champions in TFT are also difficult to compare in sturdiness with their male counterparts, so they require a lot in terms of items, levels, and the player’s ability to arrange the board. Nevertheless, these will be quality names if the player’s goal is merely to reach the top 4 or wants to “change things up” after spamming some compositions to the point of boredom.
