Build items consistently for your carry
Basically, building items consistently means players should focus on combining items for a few specific carries. This will help players transition their team composition in the late game better and maximize the power of their champions. While champions can be rolled for, items only come from monster rounds, shared draft rounds, or Lucky Lanterns. Using items inappropriately is no different from conceding defeat.

Therefore, you absolutely should not combine items for carries that have opposing properties. For example, if you want to play around Kayle with attack speed items, never combine items that only increase skill damage like the Sorcerer’s Hat or the Gemstone Gauntlet. Conversely, when combining those items, you should not try to build Kayle as your carry. Doing so will only make it difficult for you to transition your team composition and will not maximize the power of the champion.
Go “All-in” during monster rounds
Spending a large amount of gold to roll “all-in” in Teamfight Tactics has never been easy. Players need to be highly focused to buy the units they need while rolling at high speed. Moreover, arranging the team composition and combining items for newly obtained carries is also extremely important. To accomplish all of this, 30 seconds of preparation in each round is not enough. Therefore, the tip here is to roll during the monster round to extend the time to manage your team.

Although it’s called “all-in,” you don’t necessarily have to roll all your money right before the monster round. You should lower your shop to 40-50 gold to buy necessary units. After the monster round ends, then use all your money to roll and upgrade your team. At that point, players will have additional time to arrange and combine items for key units. You may even have enough time to observe your opponents and devise effective counter strategies.
Don’t sell units you can use
Many players often have a habit of building their team composition based on a certain template and selling all champions that do not belong to that team comp. Even with units players can use, if they don’t fit the template, they sell them off as well. You shouldn’t do that as it only limits the potential strength of your team. Sometimes, the units you sell could be the key to victory.

For example, with a basic Duelist composition, most players will build according to the template of 6 Duelists (with Chosen) along with 2 Lonesome and 2 Grandmasters.

However, if you get Irelia early, you can pivot to 3 Grandmasters to better counter teams based on physical carries.

Also, don’t be quick to sell units like Tryndamere, Kayle, or Olaf when playing the Duelist composition. If you manage to get the Duelist Axe, which often happens around the fifth shared draft round, you can push up to 8 Duelists and secure victory.
