After a period of naming compositions based on traits or key champions, Teamfight Tactics players have gradually shifted to using names of food items and kitchen tools to name their compositions in season 3. Previously, we had Candyland (giant candy tree), Shredder (vegetable grater), and now we have Bread and Breakfast (Breakfast Bread or Pâté Bread) to refer to the Demolitionist Cannoneers composition.

The reason for this name lies in the arrangement of the composition, where the front line consists of 4 Brawlers, in the middle are 2 Cannoneers Jinx and Ezreal, and the back line features Ziggs and Gangplank, resembling a true pâté sandwich. This can be seen as an upgraded version of the familiar Brawler-Cannoneer team from the beginning of season 3.
The gameplay of this composition in the early to mid-game is quite similar to the Brawler-Cannoneer composition; you will aim to acquire strong Brawler and Cannoneer units early on and try to maintain your health. With the important combo milestones you need to achieve being even numbers (2/4 Brawlers and 2 Cannoneers), reaching even level thresholds like 6 or 8 is extremely important.

One aspect that makes this composition stronger than the old Brawler-Cannoneer team is that you will have more options at odd level milestones (especially at levels 5 and 7). You can include a 1-star Ziggs at level 7 to activate the Rebel trait; if you already have Lucian and Vi, you can use any other Cybernetic unit to gain additional strength. In summary, during levels 6-7, the most important thing for you is to maintain health, save gold, and have the strongest composition with what you currently have.

After reaching level 8, you need to roll extensively to attain significant power thresholds later, such as 2-star Jinx or even 3-star Gangplank to activate Demolitionist with Ziggs. The key to winning with this composition will be Jinx firing and Gangplank surviving long enough to use his ability. A little tip to avoid being countered by Gnar is to position this unit a bit away from your formation; when he uses his skill, it will push the enemy team just enough towards your team.

In terms of items, Jinx will not differ much from compositions like Rebels, where Infinity Edge and Rapid Firecannon remain excellent damage items. To ensure her safety, players can consider between Guardian Angel and Quicksilver, depending on whether the opponent has many crowd control effects or dangerous damage abilities.

Gangplank is similar with two familiar items: Guardian Angel and Rabadon’s Deathcap; additionally, you can add any item providing AP, pure damage, attack speed, or defensive items for this bomb-throwing pirate.
