The Power of Qiyana – Void

After the official launch of Teamfight Tactics Season 9.5, Qiyana quickly displayed her immense power. In addition to her damage-dealing capabilities, Qiyana’s abilities also inflict relatively strong crowd control effects. Combined with the ability to engage from the Void, she can easily control and eliminate enemy carries.

Not stopping there, the adjustments to the Void in Season 9.5 have made this trait extremely powerful. Essentially, reaching the 4 Void threshold allows players’ carries to deal significantly more damage from both abilities and basic attacks. This enables players to snowball effectively from the mid-game onward.

Building the Qiyana – Void Composition

In the early game, players should aim to acquire Graves early and target the 3 Bilgewater threshold. This starting composition will help players maintain their health very well, as the Bilgewater trait can deal considerable damage. Poppy can also be used to activate the 2 Guardian threshold with Illaoi.

As players transition to the mid-game, they should gradually shift towards the 4 Void threshold to ensure higher damage output. Neeko and Quinn are also good additions at this stage as they activate the Ixtal and Butcher effects. Players should also stop purchasing experience at level 6 to upgrade Qiyana as quickly as possible.

After achieving a 3-star Qiyana, players should aim to reach level 8 to add Butcher units. Units like Mordekaiser and Rek’Sai also provide significant damage and allow Qiyana to eliminate enemies faster. If lucky, Aatrox would be the best addition to this composition in the late game.

Regarding the Legendary selection, Veigar is very suitable for the Qiyana – Void composition. The Gemstone Shard from this Legendary allows Qiyana, Katarina, or Ekko to deal significantly more damage. For item choices, Qiyana should have the Hand of Justice, Night’s Harvester, and Bloodthirster.

Conclusion

With high damage and troublesome crowd control capabilities, Qiyana and the Void composition are proving to be very strong at the moment. This promises to be an extremely effective way for players to climb ranks in the newly launched Season 9.5.
